Clean gently by hand. Clean water, soft brushes, and a stone-safe biological solution.

Detail & document. Attend to the inscription and deliver dated before and after photos.

A personal approach.

Kevin Lachausse is the owner and Memorial Care Specialist behind Legacy Memorial Restorations.

His reason for starting Legacy is simple: the people who shaped our lives deserve memorials that remain readable and cared for. That belief shapes a patient, hands-on approach to every stone.

Based in Yakima, Kevin works with families nearby and those living farther away, with photographs that let them see the care for themselves.

A SIMPLE WAY TO BEGIN

Start with a photo.
We’ll take it from there.

You don’t need to know the stone type or the right cleaning method before getting in touch.

01

Share the memorial.

A photo, the cemetery, and the name on the stone help Kevin understand the request.

02

Discuss the care.

Talk through the memorial’s condition, the work involved, and a clear quote.

03

See the difference.

Dated before and after photographs document the work so you can see the care.

A LITTLE REASSURANCE

Questions
worth asking.

Read Legacy’s full FAQ ↗
Can I arrange care from out of town? +

Yes. Legacy offers visits and dated photo reports for families who cannot be nearby. Share the cemetery and memorial details with Kevin to discuss the arrangements.

What cleaning methods do you use? +

Legacy’s published approach uses hand cleaning and biological solutions chosen for memorial care. It excludes pressure washing and bleach. The stone’s condition determines what is appropriate.

Is there special pricing for veterans? +

Legacy lists a 50% cleaning discount for veteran and military markers. The price selector can show this starting point, and Kevin confirms the final service and quote.

What if I’m unsure which service to choose? +

Start with a photo and the cemetery location. Kevin can help identify the memorial type and explain what care is suitable.

Does the price selector book a service? +

No. It provides a guide using Legacy’s published starting rates and carries your selection into the preview request form. Preview submissions are stored for Riki’s review; Legacy confirms actual bookings separately.
